Show Barnet Council what you think of Lynn Hillans cuts to Sheltered Housing Wardens

Barnet Community Campaign
Do you care about the elderly?
Does Barnet Council?

Barnet Council proposes to make drastic budget cuts by removing all wardens from sheltered housing schemes for the elderly.
No sheltered housing = isolation, vulnerability and no essential daily support. Residents face losing their independence, dignity and security.
Please support our campaign to stop these cuts and protect the vulnerable in our community by joining our march through Finchley Central.

March to save the sheltered housing warden schemes
Saturday 9 May. Assemble: 11.30am, Finchley Central tube, march to Victoria Park
More details: wardens@barnettuc.org.uk

The warden cuts will save the average Barnet Council tax payer less than 20p per week. The council may have lost more than 25 times the amount saved in dodgy investment schemes, using your money in Iceland. Who should pay for this negligence - surely not Barnet's senior citizens?
