Councillor Lynn Hillan.

The lady pictured to the left is Councillor Lynn Hillan. She is the deputy leader of Barnet Council and the architect of the plan to get rid of the wardens who look after Barnet's elderly and vulnerable in sheltered accommodation.

She moved her own mum to a home where wardens were being retained, shortly before the cuts were announced.

She ran a company which went bust in 2006 with debts of £121,000 and owed the taxman £10,000.

The department she runs at Barnet council spent £165,000 on a consultation to see what people thought of her plans. 81% strongly disagreed with the proposal to get rid of wardens. Was this £165,000 money well spent? Nope they ignored it.

What do you think of politicians who ignore the people who vote for them and pay their ever increasing allowances? I know what I think
