Barnet Council Cuts - Focus on Church Farmmhouse Museum, Hendon

One of the most senseless acts of vandalism planned by our local Tory Council are the plans to chop Church Farmhouse museum in Hendon. This museum is the oldest building standing in Barnet. It has a unique example of a Victorian Kitchen. It has had an amazing diversity of exhibitions over the last few years. I was personally involved a few years back in helping put together "Sound of the Suburbs" an exhibition about rock and pop music in the Borough. Sadly, the current exhibition about Harry Beck, the man who invented the tube map and revolutionised map design, may be the last.
