Friern Barnet Pop Up Library - The Times backs the campaign

Great News. The Barnet Times has picked up on our idea of the pop up library. They have a great piece on the story here -

Please come on down to the Library on Saturday between 11am and 1pm. It'll be on the green next to the library. Please note that the Pop Up Library is not a replacement, it is a way for the community to show that we need a real, fully functional library at the site, run paid professionals. Certain local Tory activistst are peddling the myth that anyone can run a library, nothing could be further from the truth. Consider the pop up library as us giving CPR to the library, to keep it alive until it is reopened, nothing more.

A petition has been launched to reopen the real library here. Please sign
