The Storm that never was?

Well, I for one am relieved to see that the BBC website is reporting that the worst of the storm forcast for tonight seems to be missing Mill Hill ! You can check the local weather here http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/nw7

The worst winds are forecast for 6am and it predicts 30mph.

Of course we know how well the BBC did last time with Michael Fish ! Lets hope that in the morning we are all still here !

    Am I missing something? This is what I have just read ..

    Heavy and persistent rain will quickly spread to all parts during the evening, coupled with strengthening winds. Winds strengthening further around midnight, with potentially damaging gusts and squally showers.
