Guest Blog - Defend your local library by Richard Logue

By Richard Logue
Do you want to stop our library from being closed or reduced to a useless rump? Please come along to tonight's (Weds 14th January) meeting at the New Hartley Hall on Flower Lane from 7pm onwards. We need as many people to come as possible to show just how important this issue is to our community.

The writers Deborah Moggach and S.F. Said are our special guests, and we will have a panel Q&A session featuring Matthew Offord MP, Andrew Dismore AM, Councillor Sury Khatri and Theresa Musgrove aka Mrs. Angry. We will also be giving advice on how to respond to the council consultation on the future of our libraries. Please come along!

Richard Logue is chair of the Mill Hill Residents Association. Guest blogs are always welcome at the Barnet Eye.
