The Mill Hill Music Festival starts on Friday, so get your tickets ASAP

The Mill Hill Music Festival will be kicking off this Friday, nine days of the most amazing music in Mill Hill. Some of the shows are free entry and some are ticketed. There are still a few tickets left for all events, but the BBC Elstree Band playing "A Night at The OSCARS" and Charles Court Opera performing HMS Pinnfore have nearly sold out, so we advise that you get down and buy tickets ASAP if you want to make sure you get in for those events. I'm always heartened when we get such a great response for the Opera, which is has become one of the keynote nights.

Here is what you can expect from the BBC Elstree band, firm festival favourites on Saturday at The Hartley Hall

Another event which is selling well and you really should check out if you love Jazz is the Alan Barnes Octet. Alan is an absolute icon in the Jazz world. Here's a little bit of Alan in action. He's playing on Thursday week.

If Klezmer is your thing, we have Stewart Curtis on Monday night. Here's a little snippet of Stewart Curtis doing what he does best!



The Festival is opened by The Hendon Band of the Salvation Army, who are well worth checking out, opening the festival at Hartley Hall.
 


Our party nights features 60's soul legends, The Foundations, best know for no 1 hits such as Build Me Up Buttercup and Baby, Now That I found you. This will be at The Mill Hill Golf Club


The Opening night also sees the Ron Lewis Partnership, playing their brand of Feelgood inspired Rhythm and Blues at the Adam and Eve for Free


Support will be a short acoustic set from Mill Hill's finest, The False Dots starting at 8.30pm sharp.

The Festival finishes back up at The Adam and Eve with a firm festival favourite, for all you Reggae Lovers, with Joe Angel and the Pamodzi band.
