Woolies and The Abbey National |
I daresay that there are many sights in this selection that will stir up a few memories amongst long standing locals. Many of these were taken by my Mum, who would regularly walk around our locality snapping pictures. The lockdown has given me the opportunity to have a good trawl through the pictures that have sat sadly in their folders since she passed away in 2008. It has been longoverdue!
Enjoy!
1 & 2. We start with a view of what is now Flower Lane Industrial Estate, and a couple of august institions of Mill Hill, one gone, the other taken over by a Spanish bank
