I've had a great week. The Pogues 40th anniversary at the Water Rats on Tuesday. A wonderful rehearsal at Mill Hill Music Complex and a new song for the False Dots on Weds. A great 5 a side kick about at Powerleague on Thursday. The Menace tribut to Finn Panton RIP at the 100 club on Friday. A trip up to Manchester to see the machine that is Erling Haaland and Manchester City destroy Southampton. Here's a little clip from The Water Rats and the rather excellent Pogue Traders, the finest Pogues tribute band, the tin whistle is Mr Paul Evans formerly of the parish of Finchley
That's enough of my week, what have our local tweeters been up to.

3. Michael Moorcock's classic. I've always wanted to see this film, but never have. Maybe I will hunt it down and stream it today. Or borrow a Tardis and nip back to Edgware in 1973

8. We love a bit of local history
@suburbarchives My new illustrated book about The Suburb and Golders Green is not exactly an archive, but it contains many memories of the area during the '50s and '60s, when I was growing up in the area: https://t.co/ZtUgjsSR8u
