As far as I can tell the party is committed to liberal policies and is democratically constituted. I find your comment a tad hard to understand. You do realise the membership just elected a new leader? That surely is an example of democracy within the party's organisational base. If you are talking about the commitment at the last election to revoke article 50, by definition if the Lib Dems gained a Parliamentary consensus on it, then it would be taken by a democratically elected Parliament, just as the Tories decision to serve article 50 on the basis of an advisory referendum was. I rather think what you are really saying is that you don't really like the Lib Dems or their policies, which is perfectly acceptable in a democracy, but it would be easier if you just came out with it and cut the waffle.
