Friday sees the start of the Bi-annual Mill Hill Music Festival. This is the eleventh festival and marks the 20th year of the event. This year we've seen string interest in the festival with all events having strong ticket sales. With the free entry at pubs, we expect over 1,500 people to attend (we've sold over 900 tickets for ticketed events so far!). We have an exciting and eclectic mix of music, with Indian DHOL drummers at the Day of the Raj, Klezmer music at Mill Hill Synogogue, The Hendon band of the Salvation Army at Hartley Hall, Reggae at the Three Hammers and a Ukulele band at the Adam and Eve, a Bruce Springsteen Tribute show at Mill Hill Golf Club along with old favourites, such as Jazz and Opera. We even have the BBC Elstree Concert Band doing a night of Film music at Hartley Hall.
It's not too late to get tickets for any event, although some only have a few left for some of the events. You can find full details of the programme here - http://millhillmusicfest.co.uk/programme/
Please come along and say hi, I'll be doing the sound at most of the events.
