Today I awake sober as a judge for my early morning shift feeding Londons Homeless at The Passage day centre. Struggling out of bed, travelling to Victoria and preparing the service is always a difficult ask, but it is always doubly hard without a hangover. A hangover means you have to focus and you know the day will get better as it goes on. Sobriety means you just coast. Dont get me wrong, I rarely get hangovers and rarely drink too excess. Its just when I get up early I miss them.
