Why did Barnet council give £30 million to Capita

Last night at the Barnet Council scrutiny committee Councillor Sury Khatri askedwhy Barnet Council had given Caputa £30 million. He got no satisfacrory answer. This is yet another sign that the whole One Barnet folly is starting to unravel. Sadly as this becomes more evident it is the Barnet taxpayer who is picking up the tab. There are also questions being asked about some unusual contract conditions.
