How's your week been? As a Manchester City fan, mine has been pretty good. A nice curry with friends on Friday, a decent game of five a side on Thursday at Powerleague (refereed by Arsenal's Grant Xhaka from the sidelines!). Lots of rather pleasant doggie walks in the autumnal Sun, this really is the best time of year for walking. But what have our local tweeters been up to? Let's find out.
1. Lets start with a wonderful little bit of local history. Many locals remember the Boosey and Hawkes factory. Such a shame that we lost it
Today is #SaxophoneDay.

This archive image shows a saxophone being tuned with harmonium at the Boosey & Hawkes museum or the factory tuning room in Edgware, part of the Eric McGavin collection. Eric McGavin’s lifelong passion was music education.https://t.co/5sVO8pdeRw pic.twitter.com/SeLW0Ucmy8
2. Another page in the story of the Railway Hotel in Edgware. We've been supporting Mark Amies campaign for a long time and we will carry on supporting him
Gates left with open yet again at Railway Hotel, Edgware. @HistoricEngland #buildingsatrisk @HeritageCrime Why is @BarnetCouncil not enforcing planning effectively? @C20Society pic.twitter.com/RGbaiRNqyI

3. Thanks to Lou Kennedy for capturing Shaz's goal in Hadleys 0-4 victory away at London Colney. Well done to all for a great performance
A fantastic win today, 3 points in the bag and a good strong performance, good communication and brilliant team spirit. Final Score @LondonColneyFC 0 - 4 @hadleyfc. Well done lads super proud of you. Got a bit of footage of Shaz's goal and FINALLY Sol scores 3 when I'm watching pic.twitter.com/PuMoJpzhv8

4. This is tragic. Anyone who knows our local waterways knows just how neglected they are becoming
This is a picture taken 9 years ago from about the same spot! To prevent the pond from becoming completely overgrown it needs urgent attention! Also for safety and security reasons it is important that the area is opened up again! #HeybournePark #GrahamePark #Colindale #Barnet https://t.co/euh2gEFIp5 pic.twitter.com/UJZril4LKL

5. Not for the first time, we highlight the great work done by the Cricklewood town team.
Thank you to the local @networkrail team and @woodstreetwalls for restoring the #Cricklewood bridge signage to its former glory after trespassers attacked with graffiti on dangerous live track. Bridge signage was a project by @NW2_RA ❤️ Cricklewood. @13milepost @anne_clarke pic.twitter.com/R2LvCHRbLg

7. I love this tweet, I wonder how many locals know the history of the Brent Cross site.
If I had known as a nine year-old boy that Brent Cross Shopping Centre had replaced this place, I’d never have spoken to my mum again! https://t.co/WJga4TA2yO

8. Can anyone help locate Yootha?
Found Marc Bolan! Can't seem to locate a plaque for Yootha Joyce at Golders Green... does anyone know whereabouts it is located? pic.twitter.com/gFABAnG7Cj

Name that spot. Do you recognise these parks and open spaces from around Mill Hill? pic.twitter.com/HBsFocF8dc
