And now onto the Barnet music scene! A reminder to follow the Barnet Music Facebook page for full details of forthcoming music events. 

First of all, a massive thanks to everyone who attended the events at the Mill Hill Music Festival. Every event was amazing, all of the ticketed events were sold out or nearly sold out and the free events were packed. Over 1,000 people attended the various events.  It was a great start to the Barnet festival season! There are some amazing festivals coming up. It is great to see my old mate Barrington Delevante and Dubvocaliza playing at the East Barnet Festival. They supported us at our single launch at the Dublin Castle in May and were amazing. Another date for the diary for Ska and Regage lovers. . The False Dots and DJ Rebska will be hosting a Free Ska and Reggae night at The Builders Arms in Barnet on 12th July! If you came along to the last one, you'll know it is a great venue and a brilliants night. 

Barnet has a huge number of Ska and Reggae fans. Madness have massive links with Barnet, through Lee Thompson and Chas Smash  and stll have a fair few really good bands in the genre such as The Silencerz, who are playing a gig down at the Archway Tavern on 27th July.
