Just a quick post. Can anyone out there please explain why Brian Coleman thinks it's a rubbish idea to extend to extend the 263 bus :-

Why is it great for people's access to events at synogogues be made better but a bad idea idea to make it easier for people in Archway and Holloway to visit sick relatives in Barnet hospital?
How come lengthening the 210 won't make the buses late wheras lengthening the 263 will?
Me personally, I'd like to see good access from public transport to synogogues, hospitals and pubs.
Just asking ......

Well it does show a lack of consistency on Coleman's part. However he does like to court the Jewish and Greek Cypriot vote and probably doesn't think there'll be many from those communities on the 263 bus route, unlike the 210. There are a lot of elderly Irish who live in the Archway/Holloway area but since Coleman is a Tory nutter it's unlikely he'd get votes from my compatriots hence the opposition!
What do you expect from councillors who launch initiatives to reduce childhood obesity at the same time as selling off school playing fields?
