Great News. Councillor Robert Ramsbottom the man voted a twat in a recent poll of Barnet Eye readers, by the largest ever majority in the history of one of our polls, has launched his own blog. Mike Freer MP once famously said "I have a group of followers I call the One Handed Bloggers, you can imagine what they do with the other hand". Now we know who he was talking about, as it is well documented that Ramsbottom is a big Mike Freer fan.You can read the witty, intelligent and incisive coverage of Barnet politics from its biggest dickhead political star by clicking here.

I look forward to reading the thoughts of little Bobby on the library closure program.

i went, i saw, i read. don't think Barnet Bloggers need worry that there'll be anything in the way of competition.
Subjects so far, Pledgebank, Royal Wedding Street Parties, - as if that was our main concern right now.... just the usual, divert the masses with some street partying. he mentions building a good relationship with citizens of Barnet, we saw a major example of that "relationship" building in videos and reports of Council Meetings.... replete with Private Security Guards.......
Robert says he is the "Head of Office for the Conservative Party on the London Assembly and is the former aide to Nigel Evans MP – the current Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons."
So think of his role, moving the levers of power at Barnet Council, as being merely temporary. Soon he will join the van-drivers and soup-waiters of the House of Commons, after contributing to the destruction of the London Borough of Barnet.
I have read his blog. Instead of calling him Twatman, you should now refer to Robert Rams as Mogadon man. What boring drivel!
I have submitted a comment. Let's see if it gets published.
It looks like Barnet Tory councillors - maybe even Cabinet members - drew straws to see who should try to beat the Barnet bloggers at their own game. And Robert Rams drew the short straw!
Now, I suppose, we must draw straws to see which of us should follow his blog...
Am I being thick, or do I see ELEVEN streets named on the Barnet Pledge Royal Yawn thing - but only THREE names of residents in total?
Most streets are apparently waiting for all THREE residents to sign up.
Or is the first name hidden, and not part of the "three necessary"?
Or is the whole thing a waste of time?
