The real game IDS is playing

I had a beer on Saturday with a friend with impeccable connections in the Conservative party. He was in the shop to buy a guitar, then we had a pint and watched some football. His take on the IBS resignation was interesting to say the least "he wants to reform benefits and it's the only way he can finish the job. Osborne won't let him follow through on his plans" so I asked how he possibly could if he's out of the cabinet? "Oh that's easy, Boris now owes him big time for shafting Osborne. If Brexit win, Boris will march into no 10 and IDS will be back in his job faster than you can say 'Jack Robinson'".

The next couple of months look to be interesting times.
