The Tweets of the week in the London Borough of Barnet - 02/06/2019

Welcome to our weekly roundup of the finest tweets in the London Borough of Barnet. There are some crackers this week. In this feature we feature the best of this part of our local social media scene. As ever we advise our readers to follow any of our tweeters who tickle your fancy, don't forget that you can also block those who don't!

1. If you follow the many and varied Twitter feeds of Mill Hill, you may have drawn the conclusion that there are some rather odd people, who spend too much time obsessing on Twitter. There are however some really great people doing really good stuff and at the front of the queue are the Mill Hill Litter pickers

2. In Cricklewood they have an excellent, very well run local neighbourhood forum, which does amazing work for the community. We urge all Cricklewood residents to participate and attend this meeting

3. Our historical tweet of the week is this areal shot of Burnt Oak. It's changed a bit, hasn't it

4. Looking for some fun in  the Sun. Why not pop down to the RAF museum. This looks amazing

5. Whilst you are in Colindale, why not nip along to the Chandos Arms afterwards for some high quality Jazz and a great Sunday lunch.

6. If you are a vegan and live in FInchley and you enjoy interesting food, then you really should check this out (Ed note: I'm a big fan of falafels and Falafel feast  in Finchley Central https://twitter.com/FalafelFeast)

7. Russ Kane is one of our local treasures. A truly lovely guy. He's got a book out. Buy it

8. Talking of local legends. Finchley boy Anthony Joshua is truly one. Perhaps Finchleys finest ever citizen. Always shows class in both victory and defeat

9. Talking of local sporting heroes. Needs no words.

10. And we finish with a reminder that it's less than two weeks to the start of the Mill Hill Music Festival. Make sure you get your tickets before it's too late!

Thats all folks!
