Why are Barnet so set on forcing through planning consent for this forest of 20+ storey tower blocks? It makes no sense unless there is a financial benefit somewhere. The maxim is that planning consents may NOT be bought or sold. Even if this benefit goes to PUBLIC funds - selling a planning consent still amounts to corruption

This whole project is insane. It is clearly a planning disaster in the making. It is a reverse planning procedure meaning retroactive justification when the process goes ahead against total opposition by residents who will have to suffer huge impacts of the destruction of the whole town centre for possible 3 decades as so much of this project is unpredictable. In fact very ?knowledgeable experts have actually shown the absurdity on every level of this developer profit driven proposal. It is an attack on our human rights and contrary to planning and professional ethics. Who will be held responsible ?

Your last question was key. WHO (if anyone) will be held responsible?
