The Tweets of The Week in the London Borough of Barnet - 15/12/2019

So that's it for General Elections for another five years. Lets hope that people's twitter feeds soon return to normal. I have a strong dislike of pictures of people holing up leaflets, so I've given them a very wide berth. To get in this list, you have to have a great picture and something worthwhile to say. So here is this weeks selection.

1. I hope you'll forgive us the self indulgence, but we held a little awards ceremony and it was very well received. The Mill Hill and Colindale Litter pickers won our community activity award and appreciated the recognition. Nice pics

2. We had some excellent music and John Keogh appreciated it!

3. Yesterday our local football team Hadley FC beat the league leaders and are in a very strong position for the second half of the season. Like Lou Kennedy we are starting to get excited. Hadley got an official crowd of 197 yesterday, which is amazing for the Essex Senior League

4. Long Lane Pasture is always worth a visit!

5. Great picture of Hendon from the Mill Hill Historcial Society

6. Barnet Council have won an award. Good to see the Council get something right!

7. Great news from our favourite local community sports club

8. Some Jazz with your drink? Amazing Jazz in Mill Hill this Wednesday
9. We've mentioned this one before, but it is well worth another plug.

10. So who would be your perfect Xmas guest? Mill Hill Music Complex chose Jimi Hendrix

That's all folks!
