The Tweets of The Week 02/12/2018

It's Sunday so it's that time again. All the best tweets from around and about our community. Don't forget to follow any tweeters who tickle your fancy

1. This is a story that followers of this feature will be more than familiar with. Rather sadly, the story of The Railway Hotel in Edgware gets no better at all.

2. Generally this blog agrees with our local police, but I have to say that to me this is an ugly eyesore. I doubt such "nice looking gates" would be allowed in Hampstead Garden Suburb

3. A new art gallery opened this week. Just in time for the holiday season

4. We had one of the Borough's budding superstars performing in Mill Hill Broadway for free yesterday. I suspect that within a couple of years, we'll be a paying a few bob for the privelige

5. Some fine Xmas action coming up. Here's some in East Finchley

6. Interested in a nice calendar for 2019?

7. This weeks Flashback of the week.

8. This tweet will bring a few memories back to many readers

9. Anyone up for supporting the Clitterhouse farm project?

10. Sadly we finish on a sad note this week. It's really upsetting to see this. What is the matter with people who feel the need to treat some of the nicest parts of the Borough like a piggery

That's all folks.

---- Don't forget to make a date in your diary for The Barnet Eye Xmas party and Community awards at Mill Hill Rugby Club on Fri 14th December at Mill Hill Rugby Club at 8pm. We really hope you can come down and say Hi. Admission is Free.
