The Wednesday Poem and the Wednesday Cultural Roundup - Frost

November Frost

Crunch underfoot, misty breath in the air,
the crows stare miserably from the trees.
The sun gloriously shines through the mist,
Illuminating this glorious autumnal scene.

I love long morning walks over frosty grass, crunching as you go. If you make the effort, you really see Mill Hill and The Totteridge Valley at its best.
.

Cultural Round Up.

Every Wednesday, we have a list of some of the great things that our coming up on your doorstep in the near future. Although Barnet is not recognised for its art, culture, theatre and music in the way that say Camden or the West End are, we've got a lot going on and many places that people are unaware of. So this week, I thought I'd make a short list. Please feel free to let me know of anywhere I've missed. Usually I put links to events on this page, but just this week, I'm simply posting a link to their Twitter/Facebook account. Your job? Click it and follow them all. It isn't hard! Then you will know all the news before I post them! I've added a couple of venues that are not Barnet, but a few steps across the border!
