Book of the week - Bad Karma by Andrew Harper

This weeks book is Bad Karma by Andrew Harper. For those of you who are not familiar with the concept of Karma, it is a philosophy whereby if you do bad things to others (such as cutting Sheltered Housing Wardens), bad things will happen to you. Hundreds of the oldest & most vulnerable people in Barnet have been traumatised by the decision to remove their wardens. The stress of this will probably kill some of them.

If I was the architect of the policy, I'd have deep worries about my Karma.

John Lennon addressed this issue in his classic song, "Instant Karma" - Freer, Coleman, Harper, Hillan, Cornelius et all be warned.
