1. We always try and support people who are trying to make their community better, so this week, we give pride of place to our friends at Inside Mill Hill, for their work trying to get this huge flytip sorted
We’ve made the local paper regarding the massive flytip next to the Watford Way, under Bunns Lane Bridge, i would ask you all to keep on reporting this to @BarnetCouncil until this disgrace is cleared up, it can’t simply be ignored! #LoveMillHillhttps://t.co/TVqdwmA1bu pic.twitter.com/NeYhp0YOTK— Inside Mill Hill (@InsideMillHill) August 23, 2019
2. Well done to the Burnt Oak Police for catching this scumbag, personally I'd have like to have seen him be given a few weeks inside. Stealing from Churches and charities is a high form of scumbaggery and a strong deterrent is needed
After a successful investigation by Burnt Oak SNT, on 07/08/19 at HARROW CROWN COURT Ian Caulfield pleaded guilty to theft from the Annunciation Church when he had the audacity to use an angle grinder to steal £200 from the candle box. He received a 6 months suspended sentence. pic.twitter.com/plzIaspquP— Burnt Oak Police (@MPSBurntOak) August 23, 2019

With the arrival of the M1 in the late 1960s, the area alongside the railway was wiped out. The space behind that tree is now the bus station.
