A major fault on an underground cable on the corner of Mill Hill Broadway and Hartley Avenue has caused a major power outage on the Broadway this morning. Both the Sacred Heart church and St Michael and All Angels are without power. Services are being conducted by candlelight.
UK Power networks are estimating that power will be restored by 2pm. You can get updates by checking their fault website.
