As you probably know, Barnet Councillor Robert Rams is the man who wants to close and sell off Barnets Librarys. We totally disagree and think librarys are part of a civilised culture. We suggest that everyone signs the petition in the sidebar to show their opposition.

Seems like heir apparent to the North Korean throne, Kim Jong-Un has had plastic surgery to resemble his grandfather, in a bid to boost his popularity. I'd suggest that if Rams
bottom gets his way, he has plastic surgery, if he wants to be seen out and about in Barnet. Mind you, given the way he looks anyway, it's not a bad idea. Any suggestions as to who he should be made to look like? For once I was truly stumped.

I can see a passing resemblance to Shrek in that photo. Perhaps if he was painted green with yellow spots then people would actively be able to avoid him because they would be able to see him coming at distance.
In addition Shrek is a comic book character and parents could point to him and tell their children " once upon a time there were libraries in Barnet where you could read books about Shrek.....until one day a wicked man abolished them so the children of Barnet could never have that wonderful trip to their local library again....."
Eddie Izzard; unfortunately plastic surgery wouldn't also give him Eddie's grace, panache, wit, and sensitivity. Books from Tesco indeed, what is he trying to do, advertise for them!! Oh I get it, that's his day job.
